It is a joyous and Starry moment for me and my colleagues to present this first time ever Basic version of the SMTA WEBSITE. It is going to add new dimensions to the meaning, working and features of the association - I believe.

It is my privilege that I've been entrusted with the task of hosting both - an online and printed versions of the fresh directory by the executive committee headed by President Shri Ravi Awasthi Ji. The task, of course was herculean one but I believe that the efforts and results thereof would justify your expectations and it is an assurance to all that the ultimate too would be equally satisfying. Unlike the printed directory, the scope of website is an ongoing process and needs time to time nurturing to make it more useful.

All this would have never been possible without the dedicated support of my colleagues - the subcommittee members whose painstaking efforts leave my words short for their praise. My earnest thanks to Shri Aashim Awasthi, Shri Ashu Sareen, Shri Puneet Bhasin and Shri Suneel Sharma.

My sincere thanks to my predecessors Shri S. B. Sawhney and Shri Rakesh Sawhney, who have been my Inspiration in the matter and provided the lighted path for me to trot along.

Messrs Trinity Software Consultancy is the technical team behind the operations. I thank them for their positive involvement and technical assistance. Last but not the least , our sincere thanks to the member's for their timely and detailed data feedbacks along with worthy advertisements.

In spite of all the possible care been taken in compiling and displaying the data and details, there might be some discrepancies or errors. They should please be pointed out for their immediate rectification.

It is matter of great pleasure for me and my colleagues to present the first time ever dedicated website from the SMTA platform. I hope the site would help in overall development of our trade, our association and members.

I extend my special thanks to the publication committee headed by Shri Rajesh Sawhney, whose Sincere efforts have been instrumental in constructing this site. I hope the forth coming printed version of the directory would also be an outstanding edition.
