Queries for SMTA Medical Device Park

To All SMTA Members

Dear Members,

We are getting some queries from respected members in regard to Registration of Expression of Interest in regards to having Industrial Plot in the proposed SMTA Medical Device Park. We are pleased to once again clarify as under:

1. That this registration is just to gather the assured information regarding the interest in getting Industrial plot and to assess the total number and size of plots required so that we can inform/discuss with the authorities accordingly.

2. That the interested members have been asked to deposit an interest-free, Registration amount of Rs. 50,000.00 so that only those members who are really serious in seeking for the land may register and inform.

3. That this is only on applicants’ sole discretion and there is no compulsion on any member to participate in the project.

4. That SMTA does not assure or commit any allotment after registration, as we are just trying for the allotment.

5. That SMTA is trying to get the said Industrial land in Delhi / NCR area which means, it may be in Delhi / Haryana / Uttar Pradesh.

6. At present SMTA does not know whether we will be successful in getting the land or not.

7. SMTA has so far received more than 80 applications for about 1,50,000 Sq. mt. along with the requested interest-free registration amount and is still getting the response. Now, owing to this great response, the last date for registration has been extended till 27th May, 2025.

8. SMTA informs that this process is being initiated and may take up to 2 years or more.

9. The Bank Interest earned on the amount collected will remain with SMTA and will be utilized towards expenditure incurred for travelling, holding meetings and other incidental expenses by SMTA.

10. The Registration amount deposited by the member shall be returned within 45 days of receipt of request from the member but after lock-in period of 2 years from deposit.

11. SMTA would return the Registration amount to all the depositors, if unable to succeed and the committee decides to abandon the project.

12. The depositors/applicants may withdraw their application and its respective amount at any time if they wish so but not later than 30th of May, 2025.

Hope the above clarification will satisfy the members. It is once again reiterated that there is no compulsion for any member to participate/apply for the project and the Registration amount deposited with SMTA is interest-free token for expression of interest and not any assurance, whatsoever.

No claim towards interest will be entertained in any manner ever.
