94th DTAB Meeting: Key Regulatory Recommendations for Medical Devices and Healthcare Industry
The 94th meeting of the Drugs Technical Advisory Board (DTAB) was held on 27 August 2026 in hybrid mode at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Loveneesh G. Krishna, Director General of Health Services, with Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, Drugs Controller General (India), serving as Member-Secretary.
The meeting covered several important regulatory matters relating to drugs, medical devices, clinical investigations, testing, licensing and healthcare systems. A dedicated section of the meeting addressed a number of proposals concerning the Medical Devices Rules, 2017 (MDR 2017).
