Question No. 1: Is it sufficient to include the required declarations under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, only on the footwear box or need to be declared on the footwear itself? Answer: If all the declarations required under the rules are clearly provided on the footwear box or on the label affixed/ appearing on it, it is not necessary to declare the same on the footwear, separately as it is sold in the box only.
