As part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations marking 75 glorious years of The Surgical Manufacturers & Traders Association (SMTA), the Association is publishing a prestigious commemorative volume that will chronicle the remarkable journey of our fraternity from its roots in pre-independence India to its emergence as a significant contributor to the nation’s healthcare and medical device ecosystem.
Tentatively titled : “SMTA @ 75 – The Journey of a Community that Built an Industry”
The publication is envisioned as a premium coffee-table book and a permanent historical record documenting the evolution of our Association, the growth of member enterprises, and the collective contribution of generations of entrepreneurs who helped build the Indian Medical Device Industry.
