Dear Member,
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As you are aware SMTA has been trying to procure industrial land for its members in the recent past. We are following up with the Delhi Industry minister on the subject and also had a indepth meeting withthe MD of DSIDC on the possibility of setting up a Medical Device park in Delhi.
Meanwhile we have also had meeting with the Haryana Industry minister few days back and are also looking at the possibilities in Haryana. We are pleased to inform you that we had a meeting with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) last week and they have expressed the possibility of offering industrial plots near the upcoming Jewar International Airport to our association.
This potential opportunity could open up significant advantages in terms of location, connectivity, and future business growth. The upcoming Medical Device Park at sector 28 YEIDA near the new Noida Airport has some plots yet to be allotted.
There is a clause in the allotment that the plots can be allotted for only specific medical devices . We are in touch with the authorities to relax the norms and allow all medical devices to be produced in the area. Also we are discussing a possibility of allotment of cluster land specifically for Medical devices with YEIDA so that alldevices across the segments maybe allowed.
YEIDA has asked us to submit a list of prospective entrepreneurs who would be interested to apply for plots in or around the Medical Device Park there.
